Large-scale activity is carried out to increase the export potential of Turkmenistan
Preparations are underway to create an image of the national trademark "Made in Turkmenistan". This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Atdayev at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. As the vice-premier reported, large-scale activities are being carried out to increase the export potential of Turkmenistan, expand trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries. According to the "Foreign Trade Strategy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2030" and the "Strategy of Turkmenistan for Improving the Activities for Organizing Exhibitions, Fairs and Conferences for 2020-2025", relevant measures are being taken to actively promote domestic products to the world markets. It was reported that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of relevant ministries and sectoral departments, has created an interdepartmental working group, which has currently prepared an image of the national trademark "Made in Turkmenistan" and a draft Regulation on the national trademark. Having listened to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to continue the introduction of a digital system for organizing e-commerce, as well as for ordering, preparing and placing products. At the same time, it is necessary to take appropriate steps to increase the volumes and assortment of products produced under the national brand "Made in Turkmenistan". Emphasizing the organization of advertising activities in order to widely distribute domestic high-quality food and textile products in foreign markets, the head of state stressed the need to improve the work of Turkmenistan's Trade Houses in foreign countries, giving instructions to the vice-premier on this matter.
