In Ashgabat, Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, met with Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, the Ambassador of Iran. During the meeting, they discussed preparations for the specialized exhibition titled "Iran Project" (Iran Prože), which is scheduled to be held this year. The parties discussed the dates for the exhibition and the procedures for its organization. Along with this, talks were held regarding the organization of a business forum featuring entrepreneurs from both countries. During the negotiations, significant attention was paid to developing cooperation in the fields of industry, construction, energy, and transport. The importance of strengthening direct contacts between the business communities of the two nations was emphasized. The Iranian side invited Turkmen entrepreneurs to participate in international exhibitions to be held in their country. It was noted that the "Iran Project" exhibition will create great opportunities for new partnerships. For reference, the previous edition of this exhibition took place on November 17, 2023.
