Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India for the Western Region, Sibi George, arrived in Ashgabad today on an official visit. The purpose of the visit is to participate in consultations between the foreign ministries of India and Turkmenistan, as well as in the SPECA Economic Forum. The Indian diplomat was met at the airport by the Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan and representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan. At the SPECA Economic Forum, Sibi George represented India. In his speech, he confirmed India's commitment to further strengthening trade, economic, investment and transport ties with Turkmenistan and other Central Asian countries.
